Azerbaijan announces number of vaccinated people

A total of 28,097 vaccine shots were made against coronavirus in Azerbaijan on January 19, Report informs, citing the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

The number of people who got their first jab was 2,746 today, while 2,953 people got their second dose of the vaccine. Some 22,398 people got immunized with the third (booster) dose of a COVID vaccine.

To date, 11,729,782 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the people in Azerbaijan. Of this, 5,206,120 citizens have received their first shot only, while 4,720,935 got both doses.

As of today, 1,802,727 people have received a booster dose of coronavirus vaccines in Azerbaijan.
