Hamilton wins sprint qualifying at Formula 1 British Grand Prix

Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton won the sprint qualifying session for the ninth round of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship at the British Grand Prix.

According to Report, the session took place at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom.

Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli finished second, while Red Bull's Max Verstappen took third place.

The sprint race at the British Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, July 4, starting at 15:00 Baku time (GMT+4). Later that day, at 19:00, qualifying will determine the starting grid for the main race.

The ninth round of the championship will conclude on Sunday, July 5, with the main British Grand Prix race starting at 18:00 Baku time.
