Yushchenko: 8th Global Baku Forum to allow discussing several important issues

As part of the 8th Global Baku Forum, very important issues in various sectors will be discussed, former President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko told journalists, as quoted by Report.

“After the difficulties that have arisen due to the pandemic and the inability to participate in the Global Forum last year, I am especially pleased to participate in this event this time. We are very pleased to be back in Baku. The Forum will allow us to discuss a number of important issues, including security topics, political, humanitarian packages, economic block of issues. We missed such a dialogue,” Yushchenko said.

The 8th Global Baku Forum under the motto “The world after COVID-19” is starting its work today in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. It is organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, established in 2012 by a group of public and political figures of the world.

The forum will be attended by delegates from more than 40 countries - former heads of state and government, politicians, political scientists, experts, public figures, leaders and representatives of international and non-governmental organizations.

As part of the forum, which will last until November 6, eleven panel sessions will be held on various topics.
