Western Azerbaijan Community condemns absurd statements of "Catholicos of Cilicia"

The Western Azerbaijan Community condemns the absurd statements of the "Catholicos of Cilicia" against Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to a statement issued by the Community.

“We remind the “Catholicos of Cilicia”, who does not act as a clergyman, but as a politician with Dashnak thinking, that the fairy tale “Greater Armenia from sea to sea” and racist mythology, encouraged for centuries by the Armenian Church, were destroyed by Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War of 2020, and there is no turning back. If the “Catholicos of Cilicia” thinks about the interests of the Armenian people, it shouldn't encourage enmity in the region and territorial claims to another country, but peace and reconciliation and, in particular, the dialogue of the Armenian authorities with the Community for the return of Western Azerbaijanis home," reads the statement.
