Samir Sharifov notes great opportunities for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania

The relations between Azerbaijan and Romania have reached the level of strategic partnership, and there are great opportunities for expanding cooperation, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov said at an official reception in Baku on the occasion of Romania's National Day.

"Political consultations between the foreign ministers of the two countries held in Bucharest in July this year, as well as meetings between the governments of Romania and Azerbaijan in Baku, have contributed to the development of relations between the two countries," Sharifov noted.

According to him, bilateral exchange of experience in culture and education also contributes to strengthening cooperation.
