Russia launches another criminal case against Telman Ismayilov

Another criminal case was launched against Telman Ismayilov, ex-owner of Cherkizovsky market in Russia, on the basis of a complaint from VTB Bank, Report informs, citing Kommersant newspaper.
Ismayilov is charged under Article 196 of the Russian Criminal Code. He may face up to seven years in prison and be fined up to 5 million rubles (118,000 manats).
The bank claims that Rusline 2000, owned by the former oligarch, borrowed a total of $ 185.4 million from VTB but did not repay the debt on time and was soon declared bankrupt.
