Resident Coordinator: UN supports mine clearance in Azerbaijan

The UN supports Azerbaijan's demining efforts, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva said at the First Azerbaijan National Urban Forum in Aghdam, Report informs.
According to Vladanka Andreeva, the UN in Azerbaijan is also ready to support the economy, the environment and the Great Return program. In general, the UN priorities correspond to the country's priorities, Andreeva added.
She noted that in March, a mission consisting of experts from the UN, the European Union (EU) and the World Bank arrived in Azerbaijan to assess the needs of restoration and reconstruction in the liberated territories based on the methodology of the Recovery and Peacebuilding Assessments (RPBA), which carried out the work including in Aghdam.
