Representative of French Guiana: ‘France is looting our natural resources’

"France appropriated the territory of Guiana, and our natural resources are being looted, a member of the Decolonization and Social Emancipation Movement in French Guiana, Maurice Pindard, said at an event titled “Towards the complete elimination of colonialism,” Report informs.
According to him, the unemployment rate in the country is 30%: “Even our officials are appointed by the French government."
