President of Latvia to participate in COP29

Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics will participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said as he received a delegation led by Daiga Mierina, Speaker of the Latvian Saeima, on May 20, Report informs.

Daiga Mierina extended her congratulations on Azerbaijan hosting COP29.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the congratulations and mentioned that the President of Latvia would visit Azerbaijan to participate in COP29.
