Pope Francis congratulates Ilham Aliyev

Pope Francis has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of May 28 - Republic Day, Report informs, the text of the letter says:

"I convey my best wishes to you and all your compatriots on the occasion of the national holiday of Azerbaijan, Republic Day." 

May Almighty grant all people live in a dignified, safe, and healthy environment to build a more just and friendly society, especially in these difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic."
