Peter Michalko: Demining is Azerbaijan's priority

The citizens of Azerbaijan have suffered from the landmine problem since the beginning of the conflict, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Peter Michalko, told an event themed “Team Europe Initiative on Mine Action in Azerbaijan," Report informs.

"Today we see that demining is the priority of Azerbaijan. As the European Union, we are ready to support Azerbaijan on this path," he said.

Michalko emphasized that the EU provided demining assistance to Azerbaijan.
