President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Tiny Kox, has been offered to meet in Azerbaijan with victims of landmine terror, but he refused, Chairman of the “Association of Mine Victims in Azerbaijan” Rey Karimoglu said at an event dedicated to this topic, Report informs.
He noted that unfortunately, the world ignores the landmine problem of Azerbaijan.
“We saw this attitude during the 44-day Patriotic War and after it. Under certain pressure, Armenia provided landmine maps, but they are inaccurate. As a result of this, civilians, women, children are dying. It is necessary to call on Armenia to put an end to mine terror,” Karimoglu added.
