Oktay Asadov: Azerbaijan is under pressure by Western countries as refused to join anti-Russian sanctions

Baku. 26 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan is under pressure by Western countries because of the refusal to join sanctions towards Russia. Report informs referring to the Russian RIA Novosti, Chairman of Azerbaijani Parliament Oktay Asadov said at a meeting with Russian media representatives.
"The crux of pressure on us was a fact that, Azerbaijan is not involved in sanctions against Russia," said speaker Asadov.
"We want to conduct our policy, to develop our ties. Our president wants to pursue an independent policy, but many don't like this. This is the essence of attacks against our country", he added.
