Minister: 26 Hungarian firms operating in Azerbaijan

Twenty-six Hungarian companies are currently operating in Azerbaijan, according to Sahil Babayev, Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Report informs.
Babayev made this statement during an official reception in Baku on the occasion of Hungary's National Day.
The minister highlighted that Hungary has invested $1.5 billion in Azerbaijan, while Azerbaijan has invested $8 billion in Hungary.
He also noted that the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 30% in the first eight months of 2024.
Additionally, Babayev expressed his belief that Hungary will significantly contribute to the success of COP29.
