Eswatini supports the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in implementing a new urban development program under the African Union and UNESCO, King Mswati III of Eswatini said at the Leaders' Summit within WUF13.
According to Report, he noted that the scale of such a task requires close cooperation and innovative partnerships at the level of governments, civil society, and unions.
"We must invest in renewable energy sources, green infrastructure, and sustainable construction methods. At the same time, people must always remain at the center of attention. We must find a balance between new energy sources, as well as renewable energy and traditional electricity sources that are sustainable for our economy," he said.
