Jeyhun Bayramov discusses regional issues with Uzbekistan's deputy FM

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Uzbekistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov, Report informs, citing the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, plans and joint projects arising from the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan alliance, preparation for planned high-level bilateral visits, as well as the multilateral cooperation agenda, and preparation for the 17th Summit Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to be held in Azerbaijan were discussed.

The importance of existing high-level contacts between the leaders of the two countries, the Intergovernmental Commission, and the political consultation mechanism in the development of the alliance based on brotherhood and friendship between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was emphasized.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
