The destructive activities of some third parties do not serve peace in the region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said on Friday at a special session of the II European Conference in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje.
The minister drew attention to Azerbaijan's foreign policy priorities in the post-conflict period, prospects for Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, as well as Azerbaijan's position on the regional situation.
The official informed the event participants about the factors that determined the local anti-terrorism measures carried out on September 19.
Jeyhun Bayramov also spoke about the restoration and construction work carried out by Azerbaijan in the region. At the same time, he especially emphasized the presence of a mine threat created by Armenia against Azerbaijan.
The minister drew attention to the strengthening of Armenia's military potential and the destructive activities of some third parties in the region. He stressed that such activities do not serve peace and stability in the region.
Bayramov also recalled that biased and provocative accusations against Azerbaijan after anti-terrorist measures fundamentally contradict the reports and statements of representatives of UN specialized agencies, including those actively operating in Armenia, and the groundlessness of these allegations against Azerbaijan has already been proven.
