Not every country in the world has the capacity and conditions necessary to host events on the scale of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said within the framework of WUF13 in Baku.
Report quotes Hajiyev as saying Azerbaijan has already established itself as a venue for major international events.
"Azerbaijan successfully hosted COP29 and is now successfully holding WUF13 as well. Not every country has the conditions necessary to organize such events as we do. The reasons for this may include security issues and wars," the presidential aide said.
