Head of NGO Coalition for Social Development calls for unity in fight for justice

Amid unprecedented geopolitical challenges, the creation of the Global South NGO Platform is a crucial step toward addressing global issues, Melvine Wajiri, head of the Central African Republic NGO Coalition for Social Development, said on the sidelines of the inaugural conference of the new platform.

Report quotes Wajiri as saying climate change and social injustice remain the key challenges facing the global community. "In today's world, many false narratives are spreading, people are lost in the flow of information, unsure of what to believe or belong to. In this context, it is crucial to support NGOs that are mobilizing to achieve common goals," he emphasized.

The head of the coalition is confident that through collective efforts, it is possible to change the current narrative and write a new chapter in human history. "We are striving for social, climate, political, and economic justice. Now is the time to act, and Azerbaijan has already set the right pace. I urge all organizations worldwide to join our movement, to create a shared space for NGOs, and to achieve real change," said Wajiri.
