French Bureau of the Report informs that the second phase of the program that will cost 17.5 million euros starts today.
The aim of the program that will cover 2019-2021 is to implement domestic reforms to bring them closer to the standards of the Council of Europe and the European Union in the fields of human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
It is planned to further improve the law and practice by providing close cooperation of states authorities and relevant partners in these countries. For this purpose, it is intended to improve the work of social institutions by re-studying laws, training professionals, sharing information, experiences and successful results.
Notably, the first stage involving 50 national and multilateral events covered 2015-2018.
