Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry warns citizens traveling to Iran

The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan has recommended the citizens of Azerbaijan to be extraordinarily cautious and follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization while visiting Iran. The statement comes amid fears of the spread of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and the warning of Iran's authorities, Report informs, citing the Foreign Ministry.

Citizens of Azerbaijan are advised to appeal to the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran or the General Consulate in Tebriz.

The addresses of all embassies and consulates of Azerbaijan abroad are available on the website of the Foreign Ministry (www.mfa.gov.az).

Azerbaijani citizens living or residing abroad are recommended to appeal to embassies and consulates and register with the country's missions to get assistance in the event of emergencies and other threats.
