Revanchist tendencies in Armenia are a source of concern for Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during a joint press conference with Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili, according to Report.
"The security environment in the South Caucasus and the post-conflict issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan were among the topics discussed at today's meeting. One of the factors characterizing Azerbaijan-Georgia relations is our mutual support for each other's territorial integrity. However, we cannot say the same about Armenia's attitude towards Azerbaijan," the foreign minister emphasized.
Bayramov added that Azerbaijan was forced to implement the requirements of international law through military means:
"Despite all this, Azerbaijan has proposed to work on a peace treaty with Armenia. In the last four years, significant progress has been made on the peace agreement, and initial positive results have been achieved on delimitation. However, territorial claims against Azerbaijan still remain in the Armenian Constitution."
