First secretary of Azerbaijani embassy in Peru meets head of municipality in Lima

The first secretary of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico in the Peruvian capital Lima, Gulten Gafgazli-Novruzova, has met with the head of the municipality of the Pueblo Libre district, Monica Tello Lopez, the Peruvian official wrote on X, Report informs.

"I held an important meeting with the Honorable Ms. Gulten Gafgazli-Novruzova, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Peru. This meeting reaffirms the importance of continuing to strengthen ties between nations and generating new ideas," she wrote.

Earlier, the Congress of Peru adopted a statement congratulating the Azerbaijanis of the world on the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
