EU to allocate fund to Eastern Partnership countries for vaccination

The European Union (EU) will provide €40 million to the Eastern Partnership countries to prepare a coronavirus vaccination plan as part of a joint project with the World Health Organization, said EU Representative to Ukraine Matti Maasikas.
According to the diplomat, preparation, logistics, effective management determine the success of the vaccination campaign:
"The project will be a great contribution to improving the immune system, covering all stages of vaccination."
The Eastern Partnership program, launched by the European Union in 2009, aims to expand regional cooperation with Azerbaijan, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
