Deputy minister: Azerbaijan attaches special importance to development of cooperation with Morocco

Azerbaijan attaches particular importance to the development of friendship and cooperation with Morocco, with which it is linked by religious and cultural values, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mammadguliyev said at an event in Baku on the occasion of the state holiday of Morocco - the anniversary of the ascension to the throne of King Mohammed VI.

"We are satisfied with the level of development of historically friendly relations between the two countries and are determined to further develop them and expand our cooperation," the deputy minister said.

He stressed that currently high-level relations between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and King Mohammed VI of Morocco give an important impetus to the further development of Azerbaijani-Moroccan cooperation.
