Croatian rep urges all countries to mobilize for sustainable dev’t

It is essential to consider the rights of future generations in the development process, said Antun Dujmović, Senior Legal Advisor at the Department of European Integration of the Institute for Development and International Relations (Croatia), Report informs.

Dujmović made this insight at the founding conference of the Global South NGO Platform held in Baku.

The Croatian representative called for the mobilization of all countries on the path of sustainable development, highlighting that while sustainable development is crucial, it is also important to protect the rights of future generations through decisions made along the development path.

"Although we are not official members of the Global South, it is a great honor for Croatia to be invited to this platform. Azerbaijan's constant struggle and call for others to join the struggle is commendable. Azerbaijan's increasing power after liberating its territories has not gone unnoticed. Croatia has experienced a similar historical event. Therefore, we understand this process very well," he said.
