Bulgarian PM: Azerbaijan becomes junction between East and West

Azerbaijan had become a junction between East and West, Prime Minister of Bulgaria Kiril Petkov said during a one-on-one meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, according to Report.

"I am very impressed with the work you have done over the past years. You have managed to build three international airports and become a hub between East and West," the Bulgarian prime minister said.

"Bulgaria is a member of the European Union. You can count on Bulgaria not only bilaterally, but also as a member of the European Union. We are also a member of the Council of the European Union. So I think that if we are together, the horizons will look very wide and promising," Kiril Petkov said.
