British Ambassador: We want to work together to build a more peaceful future for the people of the region

"We want to work together to build a better, more peaceful future for the people of the region, based on cooperation, respect and reconciliation," British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp said, as quoted by Report.

He thanked Azerbaijani Ambassador to Great Britain Elin Suleymanov for sharing the photos from the visit to the monument erected in Baku in memory of the British soldiers who died in 1918-1919: "Thank you to my colleague Elin Suleymanov for attending the ceremony commemorating those who have lost their lives as a result of the conflict."
