BRICS is significant organization for South Caucasus region, senior advisor says

BRICS is significant for the South Caucasus region due to the membership of two major regional states, Iran and Russia, senior advisor at the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), Shahmar Hajiyev, said at the event themed on Azerbaijan and BRICS: opportunities and prospects, Report informs.

According to him, today, the share of BRICS+ countries in the global GDP continues to grow.

The five BRICS countries account for more than 30% of global GDP and more than 40% of the global population.
