Bayramov, Mirzoyan mull unblocking transport links between two countries

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has held a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Report informs, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, the ministers emphasized the importance of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia and reviewed the progress achieved following the agreements reached at the 2025 Washington Peace Summit. Particular attention was paid to the unblocking of economic and transport infrastructure between the two nations.

In this context, trade and transit links between Azerbaijan and Armenia were highlighted as practical examples of the tangible benefits of peace.

The ministers also exchanged views on opportunities to advance a positive agenda across various multilateral platforms.

The parties agreed to continue their direct dialogue.
