Azerbaijani, Uzbek ruling parties ink co-op memorandum

The New Azerbaijan Party and the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan have signed a cooperation agreement, Report informs.

The document was signed by Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party - Head of the Central Office Tahir Budagov and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, Aktam Khaitov, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The memorandum will serve to implement the declaration on deepening the strategic partnership and increasing comprehensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The signing of this memorandum launches a new process of cooperation between the two structures, said Aktam Khaitov.

“Now, as part of the memorandum, we will be able to cooperate and conduct inter-party discussions on the exchange of experience and organizational issues, exchange delegations and develop inter-party ties,” he noted.
