Azerbaijani President receives delegation led by Foreign Minister of Sudan

Baku. 18 March. REPORT.AZ/ On March 18, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Sudan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Ahmed Karti. Report informs, the head of the state expressed his hope that the visit of the delegation led by Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti to Azerbaijan would be fruitful and provide a good opportunity for the development of friendly relations between the two countries.

Minister Ali Ahmed Karti conveyed the greetings of Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir to the head of the state. He said that he was witnessing rapid development of the country and congratulated the head of state on the successes. The sides stressed the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries, the cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of in the economic and energy sectors.

The President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings of President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir and asked him to convey his greetings to the President of Sudan.
