Azerbaijani, Iranian FMs talk over phone

On September 17, a telephone conversation took place between Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The sides discussed bilateral and regional issues, as well as the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period.

During the telephone conversation, issues arising from recent meetings held between the co-chairs of the Azerbaijani-Iranian State Commission on Economic, Trade and Humanitarian Cooperation and further steps to be taken were discussed.

In addition, the contribution of high-level meetings and interdepartmental contacts between the two countries, as well as in the military sphere, was highly appreciated.
