Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan, China's Urumqi city become twin cities

The city of Nakhchivan in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the city of Urumqi in the Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China are becoming twin cities, Report informs.
A relevant document was signed in Beijing on April 23 with the participation of Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev and the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to China, Bunyad Huseynov, and the Mayor of China's Urumqi city, Yakub Paydulla, signed a Letter of Intent on establishing twin city relations between the city of Nakhchivan and the city of Urumqi.
