Azerbaijan, Moldova discuss next intergovernmental commission meeting

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Moldova, Ulvi Bakhshaliyev, and Moldova's State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry, Corina Călugăru, met in Chișinău to review the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, agriculture, and transport, Report informs, citing the Moldovan Foreign Ministry.
The sides considered holding bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries and organizing the next session of the Azerbaijan–Moldova Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation to intensify dialogue and implement joint projects.
During the meeting, both parties also discussed expanding high-level visits, strengthening trade and economic cooperation, developing the contractual-legal framework of bilateral relations, and planning joint events in the near future.
Special attention was given to cooperation within international organizations, including the UN, the Council of the European Union, and GUAM, with emphasis on coordinating positions on issues of mutual interest.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides reaffirmed their intention to deepen and diversify cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
