Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with the President of the International Turkic Academy, Academician Shahin Mustafayev.
The discussion focused on enhancing academic cooperation and expanding scientific relations within the Turkic world, as well as exploring new partnership opportunities with Azerbaijani scientists.
As this year marks the 15th anniversary of the Turkic Academy, Shahin Mustafayev shared insights into the academy's activities for 2025 and key projects implemented. He highlighted the academy's work in areas such as fundamental scientific research and the organization of international conferences.
Special emphasis was placed on the collaboration with the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Azerbaijani researchers.
Academician Mustafayev underscored the significance of joint research efforts by Azerbaijani scientists, noting that their important scientific achievements contribute greatly to understanding the shared scientific and historical-cultural heritage of the Turkic world.
In response, Jeyhun Bayramov praised the academy’s efforts and recognized its vital role in strengthening scientific diplomacy within the Turkic world. He expressed his commitment to furthering cooperation between the two organizations.
