Araz Azimov: Azerbaijan has always come up with peace initiatives

Azerbaijan has always been a party that came up with peace initiatives, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov said at a briefing for representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country to inform them about the current situation in the region.

Azimov stressed that after the war, Azerbaijan came up with a peace initiative and declared its readiness to normalize relations with Armenia in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders, mutual recognition of sovereignty and the principle of sovereign equality.
