The barbaric acts committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani servicemen are unacceptable, says an article “Impunity of an infamy” published in the Colombian information agency AL Press about the war crimes of Armenia, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico.

The article states that the dissemination of video and photo images showing the torture of an unarmed Azerbaijani servicemen on social networks caused outrage.

“Such barbaric acts of inhumane Armenian bandits against the captured Azerbaijani military personnel, who went astray due to adverse weather conditions, are unacceptable and must be condemned by the world community. The impunity of the Armenian criminals who grossly violated the provisions of the "Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment" has made them even more emboldened, and ethnic hatred and racial discrimination against Azerbaijanis have reached their highest level. Also, as a result of the impunity of Armenian brutality, even today, military personnel and civilians have become victims of mine terrorism. The international community should demand an end to the impunity of the illegal acts committed by Armenians against Azerbaijan, which strives for peace,” the article said.
