Baku. 21 July. REPORT.AZ/ An incident occurred in a CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinal between the United States men’s national team and El Salvador.
Report informs, two El Salvador’s players bite US rivals during the match.
Henry Romero appeared to first bite Jozy Altidore, Darwin Cerén injured Omar Gonzalez.
Notably, US team defeated El Salvador club 2:0 and qualified for semifinal. Former Zira player Nelson Bonilla also fought in the squad of the losing team.
