Turkish FIFA referee to officiate 2018 World Cup matches

Baku. 17 November. REPORT.AZ/ Turkish FIFA Referee Cüneyt Çakır is among the referees to manage the 2018 World Cup matches.

Report informs citing the CNN Türk, Bahattin Duran and Tarık Ongun will act as assistants to the 40-year old referee.

Notably, Cüneyt Çakır acts as FIFA referee since 2006. Qualifying for elite category in 2011, the Turkish referee handled 2014 World Cup and 2016 European Championship.
