Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund are in talks with AS Roma's owner, Dan Friedkin, Report informs, citing All Football.
La Repubblica says negotiations are underway, with Roma's legal chief currently in Riyadh.
Eric Williamson, who works closely with Friedkin, has also been seen in the capitol this week.
The name of Turki Alalshikh, president of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who with the sponsor on Roma's shirts, Riyadh Season, has already visited the Trigoria training ground, is also circulating.
The Friedkins' request to sell Roma is around €1 billion.
The offer is said to be for €900 million immediately, plus another €300 million in the form of a clause. An option to be triggered if and when Rome gives the green light to the final project of Roma's new stadium in Pietralata.
