Modric moves level with Raul in third on Madrid's all-time European Cup appearance list

The match at the Metropolitano against Atletico Madrid was Luka Modric's 132nd for Real Madrid in the European Cup, Report informs, citing the official website of Real Madrid.
The figure means he now sits third on the club's all-time appearances list in the competition, level with Ral Gonzalez. Only Karim Benzema, who has played one game more, and Iker Casillas, on 152, now lie ahead of the midfielder.
In his 132 games, he's picked up 84 wins, 23 draws, and 25 defeats. Modric already holds legendary status in the European Cup, as one of only five players to have won the title on six occasions - 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2024.
