Manchester United have initiated discussions with Crystal Palace over a potential move for striker Jean Philippe Mateta, with the Eagles reportedly valuing the French forward at 40 million pounds, Report informs via Tribuna.
Mateta, whose contract with Palace runs until 2027, has been in excellent form this season, netting 15 goals across all competitions, including 12 in the Premier League. The 27-year-old has also impressed with his performances in the calendar year, scoring eight goals so far.
United are keen to bolster their attacking options, and Mateta has emerged as one of targets.
