FIFA starts reform process

Baku. 4 September. REPORT.AZ/ International Football Federation (FIFA) held the first meeting of the Committee on reform.

Report informs, independent Chairman of the Committee on reforms in FIFA Francois Karrar said at a press conference in Berne, following a meeting of the committee.

"We have done a deep work, affected all sectors in which reforms are possible. This is a management, financing mechanisms and powers of the various bodies of FIFA. The meeting was attended by chairman of the Supervisory Board Domenico Scala. We listened to his views on these issues", Karrar said.

Karrar thanked his colleagues, said he expected further "working closely with them in the coming months." He promised to convey "preliminary assessment" to the executive committee of FIFA in late September.

Second meeting of the Committee will be held on October 16-18 in Bern.
