Erdogan meets with Azerbaijan women"s national football team

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has received the women's football team Yuksekovaspor, according to Report,

Among those attending the meeting were Azerbaijani national team players who play for the club: Vusala Sayfaddinova, Vusala Hajiyeva, Jala Mahsimova, and Aytaj Sharifova. Sevinj Jafarzada, who recently joined the team, was unable to attend due to her late arrival to the squad.

Yuksekovaspor secured promotion to the Turkish Women's Super League last season after winning the First League.
