Diego Maradona undergoes surgery

Baku. 13 November. REPORT.AZ/ The former Argentinean football star Diego Maradona said today on social networks that he had undergone surgery to repair the ligaments in his left shoulder and he is fine.

Report informs, in a brief message on his Facebook account, Pelusa, as he is also known, pointed out that surgery lasted one and a half hours and it was a success.

'I wanted to tell you that today I underwent surgery on the ligaments of my left shoulder. It is something I had had to do a long time ago, but I always postponed it for any reason. The operation lasted one and a half hours and thank God it was a success. I send a kiss to all,' the current coach of the Al Fujairah Sport Club wrote.

Notably, Diego Maradona is currently the head coach of the United Arab Emirates' Al Fujairah Sport Club.
