Commemorative postage stamps issued to mark 100th anniversary of Tofiq Bahramov

Commemorative postage stamps have been issued to mark the 100th birth anniversary of Tofiq Bahramov, the legendary Azerbaijani football referee, Report informs.

The stamps were created by Azerpoct on the initiative of the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).

The new philatelic product is presented as a block of three stamps featuring Tofiq Bahramov's portrait. Additionally, by special order of AFFA, a unique booklet consisting of stamps depicting football uniforms - a key element of the football world - has been prepared for the first time in the country. The release date of the stamps coincides with Tofiq Bahramov's 100th birth anniversary.

Tofiq Bahramov, whose name is forever inscribed in world football history, was born on January 29, 1925, in Baku.
