CIES announces net transfer spending over past decade

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) has released the list of the top five European league clubs that have invested heavily in transfers over the past 10 years.
Report informs citing the CIES official website that the English club Manchester City spent 1,699,000,000 euros on transfers, with their incomes from transfers reaching 715 million euros.
Barcelona is second with 1,630,000,000 euros spent and 980,000,000 euros earned.
Chelsea is third. The club has paid 1,614,000,000 euros for players, and earned 1,201,000,000 euros from transfers over the past decade.
