The goalkeeper of the national team of Azerbaijan, Emil Balayev, who left Kazakhstan’s Tobol FC during the winter break, may sign a contract with a Norwegian club this week.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper will decide after reviewing the infrastructure and conditions of the club. The team finished last season in the top five of Norwegian Elite.
Emil Balayev left Tobol FC after Armenian Grigori Babayan was appointed club manager. He is currently training at the reserve field of the Baku Olympic stadium under the leadership of goalkeeper-coach Dmitry Kramarenko.
