AFFA: Roy Keane is among candidates

"AFFA is in talks with several candidates regarding the appointment of the Azerbaijani national team's manager, and Roy Keane is on the list of nominees," Firuz Abdulla, head of AFFA Media and Public Relations Department told Report.

"As reported earlier, considering the current situation and the uncertainty amid the pandemic around the world, we have not presented any candidate to the Executive Committee for discussion and finalize the terms of the contract."

Nikola Jurčević, who was appointed head coach of Azerbaijan on February 11, 2019, resigned on December 13 of the same year by the AFFA Executive Committee's decision.
